After purchasing his first film camera during his service days at Japan's Kadena Air Base, Derek's passion for photography ignited. He started snapping away at anything he could find, from cherry blossom trees to coral reefs. His love for photography bloomed over the years as he solidified his shooting technique and artistic style. But it wasn't until his son, Declan, expressed interest in photography that he ventured into professional photography.

At the age of 7, Declan followed in his father's footsteps. He was often found with a camera dangling around his neck, and, like his dad, he clicked away until his memory storage card filled up. His entrepreneurial spirit and desire to sell his photos led to the launch of Father & Son Photography in November 2024.

With Derek's 20 plus years of photography experience and Declan's enthusiastic, can-do attitude, this father-son duo is making a splash in the world of photography.
